10 Things I Hate About You

Bianca Stratford desperately wants to start dating, but her strict father establishes one rule: she can only date when her older sister Kat does. The problem is that independent, outspoken and fiercely intelligent Kat has little interest in any of the boys at school.

Determined to find a way around the rule, Bianca's admirers devise a plan and recruit mysterious Patrick Verona to win Kat over. Inspired by William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew, the film became one of the defining romantic comedies of the 1990s.
